Spicy Beef Goulash

This is excellent! Serve it over egg noodles.
 
Ingredients:
Recommend this recipe to a friend

2 pounds lean beef
4 slices bacon, chopped
2 medium onions, sliced
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
1 large green pepper, chopped
1 can (19 oz.) tomatoes
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup sour cream

 

Spicy Beef Goulash
Directions:
On The Menu

Cut beef into bite sized cubes. In a heavy saucepan brown the bacon. Add onion and cook until softened. Add the paprika and cook and stir for 30 seconds. Then add the meat cubes and all other ingredients except the sour cream.

Cover and cook over low heat until meat is tender, about 1 1/2 hours, stirring often.

Just before serving, mix the flour and sour cream together and stir into the goulash. Do not boil. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
