This recipe is from Chrissy in Northampton, who says "This can be a dinner recipe or a snack recipe. Takes a short time to make so it is good for an on the go family. It also tastes great."

1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can (8 oz.) tomatoes, cut up
1 package (5 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables
1 can (4 oz.) tomato sauce
1/2 cup minus 1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon chili powder - or to taste
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

In a medium saucepan, cook beef and onion until beef is brown.
Drain off fat.

Stir in remaining ingredients.

Cover and bring to boil. Simmer, uncovered, until vegetables are done. Makes 2 to 4 servings.
