Topping:
Mix butter, brown sugar and cinnamon together. Set aside.
Cake:
In food processor, mix flour, baking powder, salt and
sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. (You can also do
this by hand with a pastry blender.)
Whisk
egg, milk and vanilla together. Add to food processor.
Whirl briefly to combine.
Spread
batter in a greased 8 inch square cake pan. Sprinkle
the topping mixture over.
Bake
at 375 degrees F. for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm.
