This recipe is from Michelle Chancellor of Charleston USA, who writes, "This recipe has been passed down from generation to generation in my family. My Mom-Mom made this cake in her pizzeria in the early 50's and it has been a tradition ever since."

1 pint ricotta cheese
1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 package (8 oz.) sour cream
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted and cooled
1 cup sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 1/2 cups flour

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Cream cheeses and sour cream together. Stir in the melted butter. Slowly add the sugar, mixing at all times.

Add eggs, vanilla and lemon juice. Add flour to mixture.

Pour into a floured springform pan. Place in preheated oven and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Turn the oven off and leave the cheesecake in the oven for another 2 hours.

Remove from the oven, cool and eat.
