Lemon Baked Chicken

This is a really easy and tasty chicken recipe. I used to make this "back home" when I was a teenager, and we thought it was very fancy.

Ingredients:

4 chicken legs
4 chicken breasts
1 teaspoon garlic salt
2 teaspoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup water

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Rub garlic salt into chicken. Sprinkle with paprika and oregano. Place skin side down in a baking dish.

Top with lemon peel and pour lemon juice and water over top. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes. Turn skin side up and bake another 20 minutes, basting once or twice. Makes 4 servings.
