Cookie Recipes

A home made cookie is always a welcome treat - a store bought cookie just can't even come close! I don't think there would have been a time that my Grandma did not have a batch of cookies available to offer to visitors who stopped in.

I used to bake cookies a lot too - great for after school or anytime snacks. And when they are fresh out of the oven...who can resist?

A popular ice cream flavour is cookie dough - ice cream with chunks of cookie dough mixed in - proving what bakers and kids have always known: sneaking bits of cookie dough out of the bowl before the cookies are baked is one of the best "perks" of cookie making!
