Holiday Brunch

Make a special holiday brunch for your family on Christmas morning. Or maybe you are planning a festive brunch another day.

Christmas breakfast strata is not strictly reserved for Christmas day! It is good all year round - a savory combination of ham, cheese and bread, baked in an egg custard. It is great because you prepare it the night before, refrigerate and bake it the next day before serving.

Fruit salad makes a refreshing starter. You can make that up the night before too - with seasonal fresh or canned fruits. Serve hash browns along with the strata.

Finish off with a festive cranberry streusel coffee cake. If you are having a brunch for a bunch, you could also add some delicious chocolate macademia nut muffins - great for special occasions.
