Grandma's Salad Dressing

We always had this dressing on hand at home - Mom would make it and store in a jar in the fridge. She says "this is the only dressing that will do for Potato Salad and devilled eggs - even Joan agrees on this." (This is true!) We also used to have it drizzled over leaf lettuce from the garden - well I am not really fond of leaf lettuce, but I do like potato salad and devilled eggs.
