Cheese Bread

This recipe is from Carol Bergerson of L'Anse Michigan, who writes,"This recipe came from Aunt Bonnie in California. Whenever I make this everyone wants the recipe. It has a unique flavor. I serve it with fish or chicken."
 
Ingredients:
Recommend this recipe to a friend

8 oz. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
3 or 4 chopped green onions (white and green part)
Mayonnaise
1 loaf of French or Italian bread, cut lengthwise

 

 
Directions:

Mix cheeses and chopped onion together with enough mayonnaise so it is spreadable.

Spread on the bread. Broil until cheeses melt.
