Honey Date Bars

A tasty chewy bar - very simple to prepare.
 
Ingredients:
Recommend this recipe to a friend

1 cup liquid honey
3 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups chopped dates
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

 

Honey Date Bar
Directions:

Combine honey, eggs and vanilla and beat well to blend.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to honey mixture and stir to combine. Stir in dates and nuts.

Spread in a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees F. until nicely browned and top springs back when touched lightly.
